Being a minority language writer can raise certain questions, as she tells us herself: ‘I had to stand at a peculiar crossroads. In fact, every bilingual Basque writer has to do this. Do I write in one of the major languages in which I live (depending on which side of the border you live that would be French or Spanish) or do I choose Basque, a minority language, as my literary language? -

We often face the same question: why our books are not cheaper? But let us ask the question the other way round: at what point in the book chain production (from start to finish) something is not done correctly to make the price of so many books so cheap? We are not willing to lower the value of our collaborators or the quality of our books, that's why they are worth what they are worth, not a penny more, not a penny less. -

Don't you dare to publish first novels, you already have so much to choose from, what a mistake it would be, who knows how it will turn out.
You should have seen me: I, being an easily fixated person, spent I don't know how many nights with Núria Bendicho's book inside my head. I acknowledge that at that time almost nobody knew her. And of course, such a young writer, how bold you are!
